What can you do with our Bolognese Sauces?

Our sauces are cooked for hours, ensuring that all the fresh ingredients we use are thoroughly cooked to create the perfect blend of flavours. Put it in the freezer and defrost it when needed in the comfort of your home, for a variety of dishes.

We have 4 different flavours, all of which are family recipes to ensure their genuine home-made taste:

Besides their home-made and authentic flavour, a benefit of having a couple of these sauces in your freezer is that you can defrost them when needed with either a microwave or by heating them in a pan at medium heat, so that you can use them in a variety of dishes and give them a special touch. They also allow you to make delicious dishes without the hassle of cooking the bolognese for hours, such as:

What makes our sauces so special?


On one hand, our sauces are special because there are no similar Bolognese Sauces in the UK market available for consumers to buy and defrost in the comfort of their home. On the other hand, being family recipes, they have a special, slow and a methodical way to be prepared: this is the key to their genuine taste.
The very first step is to buy fresh local vegetables and ingredients: nothing canned or frozen, just high quality ingredients to ensure a delicious and satisfying taste.

Then, we get everything ready by selecting, washing and following all of the best practices from both the Food Standards Agency -as we have the highest possible score of 5 stars-, and the health and safety authorities. We also make sure to avoid any cross-contamination or misuse when handling and preparing our ingredients to use them in our recipe.

The most important part of the preparation, is about having the right timing throughout the whole cooking process. We have specific times to add, stir or leave each one of the ingredients during the cooking time, which could take as long as 7 hours depending on the quantity being prepared. Cooking it slowly at a low temperature for hours whilst leaving the lid on the sauce pot allows to concentrate the liquids, and then when we need to concentrate the flavours we remove the lid and stir: it’s an art!
Last but not least, we make sure to follow the safest procedures in regards to the cooling, pouring, scaling and sealing of the microwavable pots. By constantly checking the temperature during the process and by avoiding any possible contaminants in the packing area, we ensure the long-lasting effect of our sauces. Because of its convenience, it can be easily defrosted or kept in the fridge, allowing you to save it for the perfect occasion.
